ATSDR is jumping into the chemicals management reform fray, kicking off what it intends to be an 18 month “national conversation” on how industrial chemicals are managed in the U.S. and how it could be improved. The kick-off meeting in on June 26, 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., in Ronald Reagan Building, where EPA Administrator, NIEHS Director and ATSDR director are expected to speak.

Sessions at the event will cover monitoring, scientific understanding, policies, chemical emergencies, serving local communities and education and communication.
